What to Expect
Looking for something a bit bigger than standard reservation and want to take over our entire space for a larger group of folks, maybe you want to take over the whole place; we can accommodate your event!
From weddings to corporate meetings to birthdays, we’ve done it all. Cash bar or open tabs, waited or self served, we can ensure that your event goes off without a hitch. We have both non-alcoholic options as well as non-beer options available, and can bring in other BCL available products (IE wine and the like) as needed.
Our upstairs room comfortably sits 40 and has a 50″ flatscreen TV, while downstairs is an easy 30 seated with a 100″ projector screen. We can open up the brewery space for some unique additional seating if needed as we have a bunch of 8′ tables and even more of our beloved school chairs.
Of course there’s always outside if weather permits, where our patio can easily seat another 40. If you want to get crazy, we can even work with you to cover the entire parking lot with a tent! See pictures of that below.
Our Burdy friends are an excellent on site food option, and can even create a special meal program for you outside of their regular menu if you’d like. If you have something else in mind, we are open to anything, just ask!

3 weeks agoWe got the frigate flight which is a sample of every beer on tap. Barbara the bartender was amazing, explaining each beer in detail as well as the different processes needed for each beer. The food truck outside was also very convenient. I like the laid back atmosphere of the brewery

9 months agoStopped in here (first time) for a flight on our way by. Loved the mural on the outside and access to the food truck. Comfortable interior with a good selection of taps to try from. In our tastings we didn't hit a 'must have again', but we also did not hit a 'run away' on our flights. The only issue I had was an newly discovered inability to read sideways on a corrugated wall to figure out what was on tap :)

a month agoWe hosted my friend's bacholerette at Container and Liam, Dan and his team could not have been more welcoming. They went above and beyond to make the day special and we are so grateful. I would thoroughly recommend hosting your event here! The food trucks are SO GOOD too!

a year agoYou should experience this place. I recently visited Container Brewing to get a few beers and it was totally worth it! The atmosphere was exquisite and the selection of craft beer on tap was superb. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a good night out. The beer is stellar, service is superb and the atmosphere is awesome. Container Brewing gets a 5 star review from me!

a year agoDefinitely my favourite craft brewery in the city! Fantastic owners, bar manager and staff - great vibes indoors and especially outdoors. I love coming here when their summer session starts because they have really cool local bands on the weekends; some require tickets (nominal ~$10 cover) to offset the cost of the band but it is SO worth it. The best beer to order on tap is the Manifest (hazy IPA); it’s so easy to drink and my fave. The 20 Footer is a great pale ale and Irish Red is dark and rich but not heavy. They have some snacks (goldfish crackers, salty pretzels) and Burdy food truck on site in the parking lot (limited menu offering but everything is delicious - chicken parm sandwich/salad? and one vegetarian option, can’t recall but I think it was eggplant parm sandwich?); fries are SO delish here - perfectly crispy, no joke. There’s swag you can buy inside and of course canned beer in the fridge for your home beer needs! Best part is that this brewery is completely kid friendly (they have a BABY CHANGING TABLE INSIDE THE BATHROOM!! Need I say more?!) AND are also super dog friendly (I always see at least one dog here sipping from a dog bowl). There are lots of side seats and barrels to stand around outside if tables are full and the sun is out. Love being inside too, and friendly tip - start a tab by leaving your credit card, you won’t regret it because you won’t be able to resist with having only one beer so save yourself the hassle and start a tab! PS, on top of the great vibes and beers, the real gems are Liam and Barb - they are both such amazing human beings! We love chatting with them and they’re always so nice to everyone, making everyone feel at home and asking how everyone is doing. Seriously great people! PPS, there’s a secret bathroom upstairs ;) PPPS, there’s a ramp and wheelchair accessible bathroom for inclusive design.
