What to Expect
The birthday party package includes balloon animals and my Zox of the Forest show. The show consists of a puppet show using a puppet theatre, music, storytelling, and juggling. My shows are highly interactive, playful and imaginative. I also do theme shows about the forest, dinosaurs, ocean, and jungle.
Set List
I perform original songs, plus cover songs like Octopus (Slippery Fish), Baby Beluga, The Cat Came Back, Old MacDonald, Row, Row Row Your Boat, Mother Goose songs, Shake Your Sillies Out, and many others. The set list depends upon the age of the audience. The songs must be age appropriate.
Setup Requirements
For big shows (bigger than 50 children), I need a microphone for my voice and either another microphone for my guitar or I need to plug my guitar into the sound system.
About the Vendor
David Cooper has been a children’s performer for many years. In 1998, he created a character called Zox of the Forest, which was inspired by David’s love of the forest and the Dr Seuss character “ The Lorax”. In his shows, Zox shares his love of the forest through songs, stories, skits, and his puppet friends. Zox also juggles and does balloon art. Zox of the Forest has performed at many venues including fairs and festivals, schools, libraries, corporations, community and shopping centres and at many birthday parties. His shows are entertaining, educational and lots of fun! Zox does both roving performances and stage shows.
David Cooper has added a new character, the Easter Bunny. The last few years, the Easter Bunny has performed his show at childcares. The show consists of skits, storytelling and music. Also the Easter Bunny brings a basket of chocolate eggs for the children.

He stayed longer than the agreed time making balloon animals for all the kids. We thought his performance was great.

Helpful ReviewWe had a great time with David. He engaged with the children (2-4 years old) and played a lot of songs that we love! I definitely would recommend to others. He came early to set up and started late to allow for more guests to arrive. He also stayed after to blow up fun balloons for the kids! It was a great birthday, thank you again David!

Helpful ReviewZox was great, I hired him for my daughter’s seventh birthday. He kept all 14 kids attention for the hour. Loved how he interacted, we had 2 special needs children and he kept them focused and engaged throughout the show. The ballloons and drawings were a nice addition and so glad that he made extras for the balloons that got popped.
