Beach Party (Indoor Beach)

Have played at 6Pack Indoor Beach on and off over the years. It’s located in an industrial area close to Badminton Vancouver. There’s a cafe (Court 6 Cafe), feet washing station and two showers. The best was when they had a fun weekday drop-in/ladies night but that no longer exists. It’s fully booked for league nights (with three sessions). Couple tidbits: - 5 indoor beach courts open year round - Plenty of volleyball league options (2’s and 4’s). Not cheap ($25.00/session to play) - Expensive court rentals ($134.24/hr) unless booked last minute/odd times ($59.41/hr) The only indoor place to play beach volleyball but be prepared to pay for it.

Great place for fun. Pluses: clean, interesting, fun, big, food on site, shower, special station for cleaning eyes, friendly and helpful stuff. Minuses: sand is below room temperature, takes some time to get used.

Jan 13, 2024, Owner still hasn’t reached out after initiating a conversation for further details on Dec 29, 2023. I hope he or she is in good health and this is not a typical case of providing a generic reply on Google review without actually taking any action to resolve customer concerns. Actions speak louder than words, I’m hoping for a better outcome. I was expecting a reply from you as you reached out to ask for more info. Please kindly check Kyle’s email. Thank you A pretty decent place to host a kids birthday party. However I felt the cost was too expensive for what was offered. Paying extra for the birthday party co-ordinator was a COMPLETE WASTE of money. Perhaps the co-ordinator that was assigned to our party was not experienced with kids as she lacked enthusiasm and energy for a kids party. So I decided to take the lead and arrange the games / activities for the kids. We found a large rusty old safety pin in the sand area that we were assigned to. Luckily this old rusty pin did not injure my daughter or her friends. This is something that everyone needs to be aware of when using the facilities at 6 pack indoor beach.

Nice option for kids to enjoy the beach atmosphere with indoor sand. Per kid it’s $14 and adults can accompany kids at no cost. Kids can build sand castle and play on their own. They provide all the toys and stuff. For adults it’s a nice play to book the court and enjoy the volleyball. They have indoor restaurant and drinks (including alchohol)

My daughter has her birthday party here and I also booked a coordinator. She set up games and played with the kids. I dont have to entertain them. It is better to book a coordinator to help you take care of the game parts for the kids. However, I have to order food from the cafe at the site. I am not allowed to bring outside food (except for the cake or desserts) unless I purchased at least 150 dollar worth of food and or drinks. Suprisingly, the food is pretty good. Kids loved the chicken strip and fries. The cost of the food will be pretty much equal to the amount that I would spend outside. They are pretty flexible in regarding what time you want them to serve the food. At the end of the day, the kids had so much fun that they dont want to leave. My eldest son is already asking to have his birthday party here next year.
